The calendar is moving toward the last few months of the year! The calendar does not stop or pause, it continues forward at the same consistent pace as always. Assuming that you are an independent contractor, micro entrepreneur, or even a traditional entrepreneur, now is the time to position yourself for a great close to another year.
Our questions: Are you positioned to offer what the marketplace needs and looks for during this season of the year? How much planning have you done to tee up your possibilities? Basically, any type of product or service can be positioned to fit marketplace needs. The marketplace is simply a bit more receptive as we now head toward September, the Thanksgiving and Christmas Seasons, and the close of this year in preparation for the start of another new year.
The opportunity to benefit from connecting products and services with people requires your outreach and then the sharing of your information and proposition. Our gig economy research consistently indicates that a great percentage of gig workers now work multiple gigs (60%). This is that time of year to compliment what you are already doing with something else? The gig economy provides you with “ready to start” possibilities more so than most micro entrepreneurial ventures. So many of your underutilized assets can be easily engaged and you are generally rewarded immediately or soon after delivery of your performance. A few weeks of work during this season often means a few hundred in incremental income, as well as the possibility of more.
This is also a great time of year to explore the marketing of your personal assets in the form of talent, skill, and experience that may currently be underutilized. How can you help someone else do what they cannot get done as effectively by themselves? How can you help others leverage their possibilities during this great season of the year as they also prepare to start another? What is it that you love, that has value to others, that you can share with others, and also generate a benefit/income for you?
