Fear shows up in many ways. Sometimes it shows up as anger. Sometimes it shows up as arrogance. Sometimes it shows up as perfection.

All the areas in your life where there’s an invisible wall is often accompanied by the fear of rejection. It’s worth remembering something my friend Sean Stephenson said: “Rejection is God’s protection.”

Think about some of the things in your life or business that didn’t work out the way you wanted them to. Looking back, sometimes when those things don’t work out, something better happened instead. In those situations, you think, “It’s a good thing it DIDN’T work out!”

You can train your brain to FRAME things. It’s ALL how you FRAME it.

Everything the world perceives you and your company as is about framing. How much you get out of any situation or event has to do with framing. If you’re looking for what you don’t like and what could be done better, your brain will focus on that. If you’re looking for who you can meet and the capabilities you can develop, your brain will find it. It’s all how you frame it.

Genius Network® member Joel Weldon has a great analogy for this: If you have an expensive piece of art and you duct tape it to the wall, that is MUCH different than if it’s in a museum with proper lighting and a well-designed frame. Think about your business. Think about your message. Think about your life. Think about EVERYTHING. How you FRAME it matters.
