The Association for Entrepreneurship has been in existence for over 20 years. Recently, I was interviewed on a radio show which discussed how challenging it can be to start something that you have possibly never done before. The radio show was hosted by an entrepreneur who gained his first entrepreneurial experience with a newspaper route – something we would not even envision today because we seek our news differently. However, when building that newspaper route he learned a lot about the quality of service that he provided his customers. That experience transferred to other experiences and today he is a successful entrepreneur who owns his portfolio of radio shows because he simply kept exploring opportunities. He said that he would have progressed a lot faster toward success if he could have had access to an association such as the Association for Entrepreneurship.
