I’m not one for resolutions. Yes, I set goals, but I prefer results over anything. Yet, there is something about January 1st that makes us all want to improve some area of our life. A true fresh start to do better in the year ahead…
— better in our professions
— better in our relationships
— better in our health
But what often happens is that people try to “fix” something that isn’t really broken. So each year, the resolutions stay the same because the results aren’t there.
When I was a dead-broke carpet cleaner, I believed I wasn’t achieving enough success because the business was broken. I tried to fix it, but nothing worked. That’s because the business wasn’t broken. I was. Once I turned my energy from trying to fix everything in the business, and place more effort inward, everything changed.
This lesson applies to what you are setting out to accomplish starting today; because resolving to get healthy won’t fix the problem, and manifesting wealth won’t make you financially successful.
The results you want all branch from the strength of your connections… And I don’t just mean your network. It’s the connection you have with yourself, too. That connection is the secret to having perfect clarity of what success looks like and what steady energy feels like. The work you put into developing that connection with yourself will show up in spades for your business, relationships and health this year.
