The most important platform to have been a website because no matter what business type it is it should be able to be recognized via the internet. Email marketing is a great tool that most family-based companies go without. Because it requires more tech savviness, most avoid this, however it is a major resource to help keep customers in remembrance of your company, up to date on any news, appreciated with discounts and coupons, and respected with any personal attachment whether that be a picture or a shoutout or something else along those lines.
