All of your advertising should have response mechanisms on them. My friend and GeniusX® Member, Jason Fladlien, talks about how anything you are selling, you want to put information in front of it.
Before people read a book, they are asking themselves WHY they should read it. The more you can give them a compelling reason to do it, the better. One way to do it? Automate it and make it robotic. How? You can use a Free Recorded Message right on the cover of the book. I use to use a 24-hour Free Recorded Messages, and they still work well! In fact, hundreds of Carpet Cleaners all over America have a message on their van that says, “Warning: Don’t Call A Carpet Cleaner Until You Listen To This Free Recorded Message.” Or “Free Recorded Message Reveals How To Have Your Carpets Cleaned Properly.” Or “The Most Thorough Cleaning Ever Or It’s Free! Call This Free Recorded Message.”
Why do they still work? Because technology is important, but psychology is infinitely more important. All the different technologies are delivery mechanisms, and it’s the psychology that makes them work. This is just one way you can set things up to be more E.L.F.® (Easy, Lucrative, and Fun!), and less H.A.L.F.™ (Hard, Annoying, Lame, and Frustrating).
So, ask yourself: Where are you directing people to so they can hear about the problems you solve and the opportunities available to them? And, are you using a 24/7 automated robot to make it E.L.F.? Take a look at your business and what you are selling, and determine what information you need to put in front of it.
