Right now, as we’re all homebound, many families are looking for new forms of entertainment to bring everyone together. If you’re looking for some fun ways to bond with your family while at home, here are a couple of fun ideas that will surely lift everyone’s spirits.

Pictionary

This is a fun game that tests everyone’s imagination and creativity. To play Pictionary you’ll need a set of blank flashcards, a notepad, and a marker. Start by writing down the names of various places, objects, events, and people that the other players would know on the flashcards and set the stack facing down. Then have the first player pull the first card and try to illustrate what the flashcard says with the marker and notepad. The first person to correctly guess what the drawing depicts wins a point.

Recall

Similar to the game “telephone,” this game is a great way to exercise everyone’s memory! First, gather everyone in a circle and start a sentence that the next player can add to. For example, the first person says something like, “My dad went hunting and saw … Bigfoot.” The second player repeats the sentence with their addition, “My dad went hunting and saw … Bigfoot and a witch.” The third player does the same thing and passes it on to the next player. If a player misses a detail, they’re out.

These are just a couple of games you can play with your family during this unique time in our lives.
