Being an entrepreneur requires strong organization skills. For some people it is a natural gift, for others it takes practice. Here are a few apps to help keep you organized.
Google Calendar
Google calendar is a great tool and one that I use often. You can use it on your laptop or any mobile device. Google calendar allows you to create events, reminders, tasks, or goals. One nice thing, it is super easy to invite others to events as well. Sending it to their email will automatically place it into their calendar and remind them as the event gets closer, whether it’s an in-person meeting or a zoom. You have the capability to customize your calendar to fit you! The best part is, when using Google Calendar on a mobile device, you can sync multiple accounts, personal and professional, all in one place.
Slack
I love using Slack! It makes messaging quick and convenient. Slack is a software that can be downloaded onto your computer or any mobile device. It is similar to any other messaging platform, but it is mainly for the purpose of business. You can create private messages, group messages, and channels for specific projects or departments.
Trello
Trello is another project management and task tool you can use for the workspace. You can create multiple boards and label them to differentiate between projects then create tasks in each project and assign them to team members. Adding due dates and notes to each task is convenient for your team, placing it all in one location. This is a great way to keep track of all projects and team members to ensure everything is getting done.
There are hundreds of other resources to use to keep yourself and your team organized but these are some personal favorites. It is okay to try out different software too! See which one works best for you and your business.
