When people’s lives and relationships aren’t working, they need to connect with something.
Some people do this through a higher power. Other people do it through their children. Some people do it by being in nature. Others do it through some sort of physical activity or nutrition.
The point is: Don’t worry alone. I first heard this concept from my friend Dr. Edward Hallowell.
When someone is in a hopeless state or in a dark place, they are fighting a silent battle. Fighting silent battles are the hardest battles to fight.
My Friend, GN/100K Member, and Founder of Strategic Coach, Dan Sullivan, asks a great question: “Who Do You Want To Be A Hero To?”
Now, think of someone you want to build rapport with: Do you REALLY want to be a hero to them? There are BILLIONS of people in the world, and you only need a handful of them. And you want to make sure they are people that are E.L.F.® (Easy, Lucrative and Fun!)
There are situations where you can make a lot of money that is H.A.L.F.™ (Hard, Annoying, Lucrative and Frustrating) – but remember: Not all money is created equal.
With that said, ultimately, the most important person to be a hero to is YOURSELF.
When you’re a hero to yourself, life is totally different. You can occur to the outside world as an amazing, wonderful person. But if you don’t occur as an amazing, wonderful person to YOURSELF, it can be tough.
Every single day I dip into doubting myself, but, at the same time, every single day I expand myself and a little bit more sinks in. And in these last three years of my life, I feel better than I have in my entire adult life.
Here’s the question for YOU: What will you do going forward to become more of a hero to YOURSELF?
