In business, there are rituals that make everything else work better. Oftentimes these rituals start with YOU. To be a Great Entrepreneur involves setting up the Right Rituals.
Sometimes people start off doing something, and it’s working, but then they slack off. For example, instead of working out four days a week they may start working out two times a week. Then they don’t feel as good and can’t seem to figure out why they don’t feel as good.
A lot of it is RITUALS.
Here’s a simple ritual almost any Entrepreneur can use: Keep yourself physically fit. A proverb that my friend and CoFounder of HeroX Christian Cotichini shared with me is, “A person who has their health has 1,000 wishes; A person who does not have their health only has one.” The reason you’re able to build a business and have aspirations is in part because you’re not laid up in a hospital bed.
Maintain your health. Keep track of it. Always be super diligent about it. Also, know your own boundaries and limits when it comes to overworking. As my friend Kathy Kolbe (Founder of Kolbe.com) says, “The time to quit working is when working is no longer working.”
How do you discover the RIGHT rituals for YOU? Ask yourself: “What has consistently worked positively for me?”… then, do more of that.
