There are many situations where people place their ladder on the wrong wall. It could be assuming their team sees their vision with Clarity and understands exactly how to implement it. It could be thinking a set of actions are useful when in reality they are going to make things A LOT worse. It could be confusing Insane Thinking for Sound Thinking.
The point is: It doesn’t matter how hard you’re climbing if your ladder is leaning against the wrong wall. You have to put the ladder on the right wall.
You don’t have to have everything together to create Results, but it’s not productive to drive a car on flat tires. Don’t exacerbate situations by climbing the wrong wall faster.
Remember: The only thing worse than singing the wrong note is singing it louder. If you’re under the illusion you have a functioning car without tires (or worse, without an engine)…
And put your ladder on the right wall before you start climbing.
